8311ws not popular?

Searching this forum there are only 8 threads about the 8311WS and only 10 if searched by only 8311.

Did I buy an unpopular model? Is there some giant flaw in this trailer that everyone but me (and 8 others) can see?

Just thought it was weird that there are tons of threads on every model under the sun, except mine.

Anyway,
Just purchased a 2017 Rockwood 8311ws and got it home on Monday. It's our first ever TT and we are looking forward to many days and nights of outdoor fun in our future! We are going to a local state park this weekend for the "shakedown cruise", DW has been having a blast at Dollar Tree and Walmart buying stuff to outfit the camper.
This thing is gonna put me in the poor house before I even make the first payment!

Maybe nothing on the 8311WS on the forum is a GOOD thing. Posts here tend to identify issues. Maybe yours doesn't have any issues??

Have had mine since May, 2 trips in a third in early August planned . Love it so far . Before i owned a Sunset Creek 298bh. I believe the 8312 is more popular. Not sure why?

I bought an 8311ws a few months ago. I really like. Took it for a shakedown about 2 weeks ago. It did great. My wife and I plan to live in it for a few months with our 2 kids. It's in the shop right now for a few minor things.

Sorry to hear it's already in the shop, but glad it's only for minor things.

Same thing with my model. Very few posts about the 8293SS model. I can report that (knock on wood) we've had no real issues although I did buy it used and the previous owner had done some nice mods and seemed to maintain it very well.

I have a 2016 8311ws and have been camping all summer long ( just the weekends) with zero issues. My family really loves the trailer, for us we really like the double bunk beds in the back because they are a little wider then standard bunkhouse trailers in my opinion Plus you're not hitting your head when you're setting on the couch because there's not a a fold up bunk above you. I also really like the outside storage compartment below the dinette, it seems like you never have enough storage. A Nother nice feature of this trailer is the wardrobe slide very nice for clothes or a laundry basket.
