8312ss Tires
For some reason I was under the impression that the newer Rockwood trailers were equipped with Goodyear endurance tires. Our 2018 8312ss has Castle Rock tires on it. Does the dealer order specific tires or do the trailers come with whatever the factory installs ?

We bought our 8312 ss in 2015 and it came with ridgway sports load range c . Last week on way home had a blowout and ripped the fender flare off and dented up the aluminum trim on the bottom part of camper. My truck has a odometer when you hook up the camper and it says 3200 miles on camper. After that episode I went and got Carlisle 10 ply tires. I'm sure you would have to pay extra to have goodyear tires put on the camper off the showroom floor.

Sorry to here about your camper. That's what I'm trying to avoid. At least the Castle Rocks are load range D. Looks like my first stop is Discount tire.

I highly recommend it. I got Burt be nieve about the factory tires. Lesson learned. Thankfully my wife noticed it in the mirror right away and we pulled over.

We are awaiting Goodyear Endurance tires from Discount Tires right now. Got an e-mail this morning telling me they are on back order. Called and am told they should be getting a truck load into their Arizona warehouse this Friday. The guy couldn't guarantee just when they would get shipped to us, Friday or Monday. Then the 4th fouls up shipping time too.
Our tires on our Shockwave have about 5000 to 6000 on them and are down to the wear bars due to the terrible axle alignment, since fixed by Lippert Ind.
I'm almost afraid to go anywhere with our trailer right now till we get the new tires for the same reason as experienced by JCNOBILE.

Our Shockwave came with Trail Xtreme brand of tires, don't even say where they are made. 10 ply rating. Makes me feel all warm and fuzzy knowing they are a no name brand that they won't even put the country of origin on! With the crooked axle problem we have gotten about 6000 miles on them but we are on borrowed time now.

Consider a TPMS system; you won't be disappointed. I learned that lesson the hard way. After I blew out half of my fender on I95, I purchased the system from Truck Systems Technologies in Georgia. It paid for itself during our next outing. Picked up a nail driving through a construction zone, and pressure kept falling slowly. Pulled off at next truck stop, and sure enough, there it was. Had I not had the TPMS system, I would have had a nasty experience and blamed the tire. No tire out there will keep you from having a blowout if you pick up a nail or other road debris.

I have seen the country of origin stamped into the rubber near the rim that becomes hidden when the tires are mounted... you can bet $$$ it is China

Your tire should have a DOT number on it. My Constancy's are 7BAY AT5.
The first 2 digits are the manufacturer code. The Constancy's are
SHANDONG LONGYUE RUBBER CO., LTD 7B HEZE CITY SHANDONG CHINA
Look up your code here:

I believe they are usually dated like this:
1017 would mean the 10th week of 2017.

And yes, Hangzhou, China.

I'm waiting for 4 of them from Discount Tire, they say they should be in my shop Friday. Wish me luck changing them myself. Think I'll throw in beads for balancing, We've used them for trucks and motorcycles before with good results.
