8314ss, sat cable layout?

Anyone shed some light on the sat cable layout of an 8314ss?

I plan to run a twin-lnb dish, with tuners in LR and bedroom. Hoping the sat cable is split near entry so I can drop the splitter and add a second female connector, allowing both feed lines to connect at the outside entry point.

There is one connection for Sat and one for Cable right next to each other at the left rear of the camper near the power cord hook up. When you go into the living room at the entertainment center there again there are two different connections just like out side. as far as the bed room there is only one, but it dosen't indicate Sat or Cable, but I believe it is hook to the Cable side. I use Direct TV and connect the dish to the out side Sat connection and then again at the entertainment center, but never tried hooking up Sat in the bed room, I am not awake long enough. My camper is an 2006 8314ss, and I do not know if anything has change on the new models. Hope this helps.

Word is from FR they use only RG-6, so this should be manageable, and since I could use RG-6 flat cable in the window...this one is put to rest.

cherokee 39 bs connections

I just went through this on my new 09 Cherokee. It has two outside cable connections that are not marked. One is a dedicated satellite cable and the other is for cable tv. My problem arose from wanting to mount my dish on a pole outside and run two feeds into the trailer for a tivo set up. I found out that one of the cables is a direct feed to the entertainment center and the other goes to the antenna booster and then gets split to the other two room locations. I also found out if you remove the antenna booster this one side will become another direct feed I was looking for and the other side will feed the other two rooms, which is perfect as you can output your tivo to the other two locations with that cable. All these connections were in the wall which was accessible by removing the antenna booster. Hard to explain but feel free to ask any direct questions.

I think I'm good to go and have a plan...just need to get my hands on the TT now!
