AC runs but no water dripping off roof

Our 2012 Rockwood 2701SS is new to us. A while ago we had the AC running but I didn't see water dripping off the roof as with our previous travel trailer.

Am I missing something?

I had that happen on my last trailer twice, seemingly at random. Both times it started leaking inside after a short while. Get on the roof and pull the AC cover. Make sure the drains are clear and not plugged. In my case, it was a combination of that and the AC gasket not sealing well.

You may very well have a drain problem, but the relative humidity also has a lot to do with how much moisture the A/C unit generates.

Regarding the drain - will it exit onto the roof or are there cases where it runs through the trailer to underneath?

I'm not saying they don't exist but I've not seen one with drains through the trailer.

Take a look to see if water is pooling on the roof. It could be as simple as raising or lowering one end of your trailer to force the water to run off.

For what it's worth, how well does the unit cool? If it puts out cold air then it is also creating condensation...dat's da physics. Regardless of how the water is routed, it will eventually end up on the ground. I live in the Tropics of Texas, I end up with a puddle so big I almost blamed the neighbor's fleet of Shetland Sheepdogs (that's a lot, BTW). This falls in line with Subsailor's post, dry air means little condensation.
Are you parked over grass of pavement? Grass might make it hard to spot where the condensate is draining. The only other option is somehow it got plumbed into the gray tank. Unlikely...but you did say "new to you", so who knows what the previous owner might have done.
Your on the right track, let us know what you find.

When mine got plugged, it pooled under the AC cover. I even lifted one end a couple of inches and it wouldn't run off. The fan was keeping it somewhat away from the unit but, when it stopped, it started leaking inside through a corner of the gasket that wasn't tight enough. Found some leaves and stuff up under the drain rails when I pulled the cover.

We camped in Big Bend for 2 weeks never seen any water so figured the low humidity had something to do with it.

This past weekend I had issues with my A/C. It was very humid and I did see the water running off the roof on the outside. However, water also started dripping on the inside - especially when the unit was shut off.

Okay, so it IS draining onto the roof. I took off the cover and left it running for over an hour. The weather (22ºC and 25ºC are 72ºF and 77ºF, respectively):

The water - hard to see but there's a thin line roughly in the centre of the photo.

There was a little dirt under there but not too much. I blew it out with compressed air.

No sign of water inside.

That was my issue. Pull the cover off the ceiling and check the tightness on the flange screws. One corner of mine wasn't as tight as the others and it leaked. Normally wouldn't have been a problem except for the humidity. Water wasn't draining as quickly as it was being produced. The fan kept most of it away from the gasket. When it stopped, water came in through the corner of the flange that wasn't tight.

When we level up at a camp spot, from front to rear, we leave the front just a little bit higher. Condensate always drips in the rear, left or right, depending on how close we are leveled left to right. As said previously, relative humidity has a lot to do with it. Are you out west?

We are located in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada - roughly the same latitude as Philly. So definitely east. It often gets a lot more humid here... yesterday's 57% wasn't bad.

Now that I'm reading my own post, it came to me that our roof is not flat; it runs from high up front to lower in the rear. So my worldly advice may mean nothing...
