Have a motorhome and could not cool in the summer without 2 units, 15 front and 13.5 back.

Maybe there are ducts in the ceiling, but not sure.
Was it a factory install, or a Dealer install?

Dealer install - before it was done, I spoke to a FR rep plus the dealer and while I never asked about pre installed ducting, that was never mentioned to me by either one.

I have been an Hvac tech for 16 years and have gotten into the camping world the last 3 years. Please put two AC units in your rig. You'll thank your self in the future. Redundancy is always important and the temp will be more consistent in your rig.

Yep put two in. I have been an Hvac tech for 16 years and have been camping for the last 3 years. Redundancy is always good and them temp in your rig will be more consistent during the very hot days. You don't always have to run the both.

Hey Smitty65,
Thanks for your input, we have to make a decision as to which ones? We are moving to 2 - 15's just to have it cool down sooner rather then later...... still have a couple of years before we buy, just still doing Homework. Also we already have TV a F250 all setup short of the hitch.

The web site says the 15K A/C is optional, no option listed for 50A service and a pre-wire or 2nd A/C. I have heard this mentioned with the Diamond package because of the dark roof...but no mention on the web page yet.

Have you had some feedback from Forest River on this?

Dave

Dave,
Yes I talked to FF last week and was told that they Can install two 15,000 with the 50amp service at the plant. We most likely are going that way for now.
