no way to check pressures of refrigerant. The process tubes were crimped and welded shut at factory. They hold so little refrigerant that if you had ports for the gauges you would loose enough each time you screwed the gauges on and off that it wouldn't cool. After the coach cools off the suction line at the compressor (larger one) should be beer can cold.I'll bet it was the sensor location.
