AC Unit not working on 2015 8289WS

I came home yesterday from work to find my my ac unit not working in the living room. Granted it was 95 degrees in Atlanta so I cut the unit off and let it sit overnight. I figured it was froze up. I tried cutting it on this morning and it still wouldn't blow any air at all. Same as yesterday afternoon. Can anyone please help me out!! Thanks in advance!!

Have you reset the AC breaker?

I meant the model of the A/C unit.

Dometic - Coleman - etc.

Does the fan run?
Is the thermostat digital or analog?
What have you checked?

Just telling us the A/C quit doesn't give us much to go on in diagnosing the problem.

Gotcha I am actually at work but I believe it's a Dometic. It's not a digital thermostat. And no it's not blowing any air at all. It makes a low noise like it's trying to kick on and then it just shuts off.

I pull the vent cover off but really didn't know what to look for. I'm a electrician so all I know is is getting power and it's not working. Lol

As asked before... does it kick the breaker?

When you say it hums... then shuts off... what shuts off?
Meaning does it kick the breaker or do you just stop hearing the low noise?

Does it try to restart on on it's own after a minute or two or do you have to cycle the thermostat off, then back on, to get it to make the low noise again?

There are pages and pages of folks on here with problems with their 2014-2015 Dometic A/C units. Dometic has replaced a BUNCH of them. A forum search will give you LOTS of reading.

If you are an electrician and can rule out electrical feed issues, I suggest you contact Dometic.

The hum you're hearing could be the blower trying to start or it could be the compressor running.

When you get a chance, give us the make and model of the A/C.

Also, how old is the unit?
