Sometimes the pumps have an O-ring that gets mashed, un-seated or otherwise fails. I was told it's an easy fix - after I'd given up and thrown away the mattress, pumps, etc.

I have the same couch/airbed in our 5er. When the bed is opened the black mesh they used is stapled, on ours we had a large amount of staples that actually poked holes in the air mattress. Pulled out the staples that were poking up and used craft foam board cut into strips and stapled it down. New air mattress and no more leaks. By the way that couch/bed is a poorly built piece of crap.

We had the same air bed in our first Sabre...worked so well that I installed a sofa with air bed in our 2nd Sabre...we have never had a problem with air leaking out.I would check the valve at the foot of the mattress.

On my next trip I will check the valve for leaks and try it again. If that doesn't work would an after market air mattress work as long as its the same dimensions ? They are reasonably priced. I need the extra sleeping area for the grand kids.
