All the changes for minilites in 2020 models..

I asked my dealer to request the spec sheet of all the changes they made to the minilite for the 2020 models that are hitting the dealer lots. Here is what I got.

I'm really surprised that they are adding a 2" accessory hitch - presumably for a bike rack or cargo-carrying platform - on a mini-light trailer.

I am pleasantly surprised as well. I've seen videos online with it and I think soe of the other members who recently took delivery of their trailer showed pictures of it so it definitely checks out..

Evidently these changes weren't all implemented at the same time. My 2109S was built in late June and I have the TPMS but not the furnace, hitch or griddle.

Looks like they missed the new swivel TV mount on the pdf. At least on our 2506S that is a change. Thanks for posting it though.

And their website still shows the 2304KS.

See Post #12 for the one I had put on my 2503S (also discontinued).

Post #2 is the one I had on my Roo 19.

Noticed a new model 2205s in your pdf. I googled it and there is a layout of it but no specs. Has anyone found anymore info on it? We are thinking of buying the 2104s, we like the new L shaped counter.

Have 2017 2507S, I just added a 2" receiver at a spot which centers my aluminum HitchPacker on right center, next to the tire, but doesn't stick out.
Would Love TPMS. Installed Unbreakable front roof vent cover, original is about as strong as bubble packaging on a snack cake. Added Furion BackUp/Observation camera, REALLY like, since rear view blocked. Now have rear view. Battery cutOff switch replaced with Marine Type, Much more durable, had to replace friends on 2407? first, both out within two months of each other. Hope they plan to maybe at least option package the new solid frame aluminum swing down steps.

If you simply bolted a receiver to your bumper, you are asking for the bumper to rip off. The bumper on these light trailers is inadequate for what you are asking it to do.

You need to either weld on a beefed up receiver,

http://www.forestriverforums.com/for...oo-107358.html

get some Safety Struts,

https://mount-n-lock.com/safetystrut...bumper-failure

or receiver that bolts to the frame.

Refreshing an older thread to add that my new 2020 1/2 2507S has a sliding blade-type waste valve (or whatever the term is) on the fresh water tank. It's smaller than the gray/black tank valves and moved out toward the edge of the trailer, making dumping your fresh tank much easier. No more crawling under the trailer.

Thumbs up FW Dump

I saw that too.

So much better from the tiny petcock that would need an hour to drain the FW tank!

2020 2104S With Updates

Hi All,
Good afternoon. Just another day in Paradise. I ordered my 2104S in Oct and just brought it home last week. They did do a lot of upgrades and it makes the new 2104S better than it was. It was good before but now even better. The L shaped kitchen has a lot of counter space and more drawers but you have to extend the slide to get to the bathroom or most anything. The hitch will be good for bike racks. One of the better things they did was to upgrade to the 310 toilet. It has a ceramic bowel... I down sized from a 27 DSRL and this has a lot of living space. Thanks to everyone's input in the forum. This lead me to order the 2104S. Have a great day,
Fred

Our 2020 came with the cheap plastic toilet, had to go buy the good one. They must have just changed that.
