We have a 2015 2618W Windjammer, diamond package. I think we have the only one on the road. Never seen another one out and about. Forest River stopped making this model?? Its a little bit liter than the 30 something models, and it tows good with my F150 truck.

There is at least one more. Friends of ours have one & really like it.

Rockwood makes a 2618VS & Flagstaff makes the 26VFKS. Both the same thing.

We like ours. Not too many problems with it.
Scare light on slide side misinstalled by FR. Slide retracted and broke the bezel.
Oven wouldn't stay lit. Defective pilot light assy.
Rear day/night shade broke cord.
Tank venting in potable tank kinked. Wouldn't fill right
Black tank sensor never reads full.
Surround sound had hum or buzz in it. Toshiba TV defective, replaced w/ Furrion. I think the dealer got it all taken care of

Mine is mounted like Gectisme's unit. Seems to work perfect, installed by an RV dealer but not the one I purchased the TT from. I have made a couple of adjustments to it during a 30 day trip this past summer, but otherwise it is as installed.

Torque

Another thought while reading this is torquing the socket bolts on the hitch to control the sway. Currently I torque to 80 ftlbs after I hook up and pull out straight and level. When I want to unhook, I have to release the torque so I can move the bars away from the pads. Anyone else use this much torque? Refer to page 15, Section 5 in the installation guide. It has a Warning: "Never tow with loose socket bolts. Tighten socket bolts to a minimum of 45 Ft-lbs torque before each towing session." We pulled in some windy conditions in the Rockies and across Kansas where I thought about increasing the torque slightly at that time. 35' trailer + 30 MPH winds from the side = NOT a relaxing drive.

We have a 2014 2618W WJ and have enjoyed it. No major problems. Trips have included Santa Fe, Yellowstone, Charlotte/Asheville, St. Louis and Branson along with various state and CoE parks around Arkansas. 45 nights and about 12,000 miles on it so far.

D_B, I missed that note about torquing the socket bolts so they have whatever torque the dealer applied. I'll check before my next trip on the 26th. Have you tried 45 foot-pounds for comparison or used only 80?

I raised the angle brackets one hole yesterday and the rig is much more level. I'm sure it will be more stable.

I did originally raise my brackets 1 hole also and it brought my truck up where I am comfortable with it. And I started out with 45 then 60, and have run 80 ft lbs torque for months now. It does very well now with little sway. Experiment and see if it helps you.

We have a 2016 3008w and we love it. Took delivery in October and made only one 2 week trip and brought back for warranty work. Been at dealership for over a month but we're anxious to get back out in it even though winter is here. We love the layout with the front kitchen. Plan on taking it to Grand Canyon next summer and camp as much as possible next year. I think there are a lot of them out there as they are becoming more popular.

New Mexico WindJammer

We picked ours up in southern OK by my folks house last May and love it. It is a 2015 Diamond package and I pull it with a F-150 Ecoboost with air bags to help the load. We have had it out to the Lincoln National Forest about 8 times as well as the Phoenix Nascar race. Pulls very well with a little sway in heavy wind conditions. Our front electric stabilizer jacks have stopped working so I will be taking that to a local dealer to get fixed under warranty but other than that no issues. We have two teenage daughters that love having their own area up front.

I started winterizing it today and the water heater valves were tough for me to reach but I figured it out. The anode rod was about 75% used after 6 months which was surprising but we have some very heavy water in the local area so that might be normal.

I am sure I have bored many of our friends by talking too much about how great our W is. But.. They all like coming for a visit though. The windjammer is great for parties!

3 doors same type of lock, 3 different keys, why?

I have finally found something I am not happy with on my WJ. I have a different key for the 2 doors and the storage hatch. Why are they not all the same key? It didn't bother me at first because I didn't lock anything, this last camping trip we went on a few day trips so we locked the camper. When we got back I then had to fumble around to find the right key and of course it was always the 3rd key I tried... This is mostly tongue-in-cheek, it doesn't really bother me that much but thinking I might call a locksmith and see how much it costs to have them all use the same key. That way it will be a lot less keys to worry about. Any other solutions suggestions?
So far that is my only complaint and still a very happy camper.

RIGHT!!
Try this link. RV LOCKSANDMORE
Very inexpensive.
You can Switch cargo doors and main doors to one key. First thing I do when I get a new rig. Good Luck

2014 3008W, mostly fit and finish issues and my stupidity but nothing major really. My only real problem is more the stupid Carbon Monoxide/Propane detector...why do they always go off in the middle of the night!!!!

Carbon Monoxide detectors

Indeed they do go off in the middle of the night! And...the middle of a really, really cold night when you have to open the windows in the camper to let out the "bad" air and let in the "good" air. Just about froze my belly button off several years ago at Texas Motor Speedway when ours went off. 20 something degrees outside! After it went off twice inside, I took it outside after resetting it, and it went off again...while standing outside. Seems the night air was so still, and with about 10,000 generators running the outside air was bad also. Oh boy, not much you can do about that except hope all of you wake up in the morning. We lived as did everyone else, but we still take the warning very seriously indeed!

2015 3008W Diamond Package, loving every minute of it. Haven't really tracked the mileage but number of nights camped is in my signature. Lots of room, good bed, like the center bath, lazy boy recliners are great, like the table and chairs vs. the dinette and the front kitchen is perfect for us.

Only issues are the IRV radio, which was easy to replace and we had to have our TV antenna replaced. One other thing that I was kind of disappointed in was the drawers in the end of the kitchen counter. The assembly that holds the slides came loose from the counter top, it didn't seem to be glued to well and probably should have been fastened better. We took the drawers out, put it back in place and using a couple small plywood squares, more adhesive and air nailer, put it back in place. It won't come loose again!!

The only thing I can relate mine to was that we had boiled water at dinner time even with the vents and the door open and no fan running. It happened twice like that, the funny thing is when my wife left the propane on slightly it never went off and I could smell propane but the detector didn't go off.
