Trim beside rear entry door.

This black trim which I think covers screws is bulging out loose right midway up near where the entry door latch is.

I can push it in but it just pushes right back out. I’d say it’s an area about 6 inches tall and right in the middle it’s bulged out prob 3/8 inch. Can’t figure why or how to get it back in. I don’t see anything holding it on or anything it snaps into. Any ideas? I’ll try to add a picture. Don’t know how long it’s been like that but so far it hasn’t allowed any water to get in but I don’t want it to start.

The trim piece issue maybe commonto other trailers. You may want to post your question and a picture in a general forum for more responses.

Here’s a couple pictures of the door trim issue.

Hey all-
Quick question on the windjammer awning.. we have a 2015 3008W we purchased last year and it’s the first time we used the awning.
I notice when I closed the awning, the rails didn’t seem to line up (sit completely flush at the top of the rail) I’ve attached a few pics..
Is this normal or does it need an adjustment?

The rails are just along for the ride. They're gonna stop when the awning rolls up as tight as it's gonna go and stops. It does look like your awning might be a "little" uneven on the rollup. Note at one end, the aluminum cover completely covers the end cap, and on the other, it looks like about an inch or so of awning material is exposed. Might be causing an uneven rollup. No idea how you'd adjust that. YouTube might be your friend there.

Hi RVngFam. Congrats on the Windjammer. I like the white exterior.
Our awning arms rolled up a lot worse than that and were fine. We had a gap about 2 inches on the front arm. I put a wide piece of velcro on it as a security to slow it down if it tried to unroll. Over several trips it never unrolled. We had new motors put on both awnings this year. The guy installing them gave the awning arm a good shove and it rolls up a lot better! Sorry I did not see exactly where he did his adjustment. I agree with Tuckerdog that you should be fine.
Happy Jamming!

Thanks!
We’re absolutely loving the Windjammer!!
When you say gave the arm a good shove, did he move it while the awning was closing?

The awning was stopped about 3/4 the way in and then he pushed the arm. It winds in tight now. I think the new motors help too but those weren't cheap. Good luck!

The awning is not rolling up properly causing the arms not to completely come to rest when fully retracted as indicated by your pics. I had the dealer adjust mine don't know what he did. This happen on my 2015 V-Light. As mentioned you can try to shove it over when rolling up and it may help. Later RJD

Have the same issue with my awning, going to try this fix this weekend. Not sure how easy this will be with a large awning but it worked in the video……:

It worked. My awning took a little more persuasion since it has the built in cover and is heavy. Couldn’t budge it just using my hands but with some channel locks and a rubber mallet on the far end I got it to move enough that the awning rails line up perfectly now…..

When all else fails, use a rubber mallet. Congrats
