Hi we bought a 2015 30 wikss flagstaff. This is the same floor plan as the windjammer 3025. Pulled the C load range tires off after only a couple of 100 miles. did not like how the trailer towed and behaved behind my F350 four door dully with 8' bed. The tires were right at the max load they could carry and looked like they were squatting under the weight of the trailer. New tires don't have that squatting look. Bought Carlisle ST load range E tires. run the pressure at 75-80 psi. bought them at discount tire last spring for around 500.00 balanced and installed on TT. I asked for the newest born on date which was 2-3 months old for all 4 tires. They had a set that was almost 1 year old in the shop. If I did not ask for the newest tires they would probably have sold me the 1 year old ones.

Hope this helps Tim

We love our WJ. Had some minor issues, no big deal. Just installed Progressive 30A EMS.

Anyone with the 3006 have a TV mount on the outside and in the main bedroom? If so, where is the mount located on the wall outside and in the bedroom

We don't have an outside TV mount but want to share to be careful when mointing because our screws were too long for the bedroom mount and we accidentally punched through the back of the trailer. (We have a 3008)

This is what I use to mount my 42" 20lb TV to the outside of my Windjammer. I put it wherever I want, whenever I want.

We don't have an outside mount either, I don't think we would use it anyway but it is kind of funny they run an antenna or cable connection there but don't put a mount.

I asked about the bedroom option and no one on the forum got back to me. I then sent an email to Forrest River asking where does it mount and this is the answer I got back:

"If backing for tv mounts are in your unit, a sticker will be labeled saying tv backer in the location where the tv will go."

Ours didn't have a sticker so I asked if he could tell where they would put the backing and never got an answer. I changed my mind and probably won't install one in the bedroom so I didn't pursue it.

Our 3029w has a bedroom tv. It uses a ceiling mount under the hanging cupboards. Not sure how your bedroom is laid out but look at options not on the wall.
We have an outside mount for the same tv too. Just two slots near the electric outlet and the tv slides on it. We can also put the tv on the shelf that slides in by the grill.
We like to sit outside and still catch a nascar race on tv.

We have a 3008W, so I cannot answer your question. What I can tell you is that we had a sticker of the wall in the bedroom stating where the backer was located. As far as outside goes the cable outlet is located directly below where that little outside table hangs and the salesman said we could set a TV on that.

Today, took our Jayco X213 to the dealer we bought it from, for a state inspection. While I was hanging with the guy doing the inspection, my wife was poking her head inside new trailers. Next thing I know, we've bought a 2016 Windjammer 3029W.

How does this happen?

If I'd known, I could have saved the inspection fee.

Taking wife = big mistake!

That's a pretty big jump, too. A lot more than "two-foot-itis"

While in Florida this past winter we had the carpet professionally cleaned in out 2016 3029W Windjammer. I moved the dining table so they could do a good job cleaning and afterwards my wife asked me to place the dining table in the back window where the two recliner chairs had been and put the chairs where the table had been. She loved the new floor plan!!! I said lets wait two days and see if we really like it before I screw down the table in the back. We both liked it so now we have a much larger dining area in back.
It's amazing how just a slight change of furniture location makes such an improvement in the layout. You may want to try it.

Oh one last thought- we hang out clothes in the front closet with the hanger hook facing outwards (instead of towards the walls) and we haven't had any clothes fall down after thousands of miles traveling.
Happy trails,

I would call that a good thing to take the wife.

Congrats on your new WJ!

Congrats! You will love the WJ. We sure like ours and it is the same floor plan. So much room in these. We went to get new tires on our 4 year old Rockwood and ended up with the WJ... And then still bought different tires for it!

On the 2016's the WJ comes with D Rated tires not the C rated.

Happy trails,

Thanks for all the nice comments. Really looking forward to taking delivery & doing a shakedown trip at a nearby lake.

Have a question I'm sure someone can answer. Looking through the sales literature last night, the short blurb about the stereo system says DIGITAL AM/FM/DVD w /"Bluetooth" technology. Says nothing about playing CDs. DW lives for her CD collection. Does the unit play CDs? I don't think I've ever seen a DVD player that did not also play CDs.

Thanks,

Tuckerdog1

Yes, if it's the IRV66 or 33, it will play CD's.

The dvd player will play cd's. The radio isn't great as it has a minimum range so we play cds or Pandora via the blue tooth. The tv also plays through the stereo speakers. Ours is hooked to AU 2 and it takes a couple of seconds to sync up.
