Alphaflex Roof Membrane

So Iím going over the stack of manuals that came w/ my 2020. My unit has a Alphaflex roof membrane.

In big bold letters on the bottom it reads:

ONLY SUPERFLEX AND ALPHA BRAND SEALANTS CAN COME IN CONTACT WITH THE ALPHAFLEX ROOF MEMBRANE

So - no more Dicor? Anybody else have this kind of membrane?

I have a lot of tubes of Dicor ...

I believe all Rockwoods (at least) have had this material on their roofs since about 2015. I have read the same literature as you for the roof of my 2016 Windjammer. I have not used Dicor and have only used the Alpha brand products just to be safe. I have no idea if Dicor would be ok, or not.

Keep an eye on it, I think this was the material on my 2020 Cedar Creek roof, 12weeks old and it lasted almost one trip to the FROG rally. It had shrunk back from the cap and then shredded itself in the wind. It tears unlike EPDM that just balloons up when it gets loose. Since I didn't have it very long I'm not certain it was this material but it sure looks like it from pictures. My roof is being replaced under warranty with a heavy EPDM roof material.

I use the Alpha product as well. A local dealer said they just use dicor. I will go with the manufacturer on this.

Ok, sounds like I have many tubes of Dicor to toss. I might as well pick up so extra Eternabond while I'm at it.

I have an Alpha roof on my Flagstaff.

Alpha's sealant is rebranded for sale at Camping World and other R/V parts supply stores under the SuperFlex name.

Alpha does sell their product (with their name on it) a few places and you can find it on Amazon and eBay occasionally but usually only in white.
Alpha does make other colors.

Several years ago I spoke with a Alpha representative and confirmed SuperFlex is the EXACT same sealant they use at the factory.

There have been reports here of folks using Dicor on an Alpha roof with less than favorable results of bubbling of the roof material around the sealed areas.

Alpha's 1021 is self leveling.
Alpha's 1010 is non-sag.
SuperFlex Self Leveling N102103TCW. (I think the CW in the product number stands for Camping World)
SuperFlex Non Sag N101001TCW

One final note... I think Alpha may also package their sealant for Rec-Pro as well and I have seen some references to the sealant using a RP in front of the 1021/1010

I just brought home my new Geo Pro 19FD last week and see they used black and white caulking for whatever reason. Now I need to have 2 different colours going forward.
