Amp Rating

All,

My RW 2604 came with a 30amp cord and plug. The specs list a 55 amp converter. Way isn't the TT rated for 50 amps? Thanks, George

The 55 AMP rating for your Converter is DC Rating. Used to recharge your battery and to drive 12DC accessories in your trailer. Your 30 AMP service rating is for AC. The AC powers your Converter and other AC only componants like Microwave and Air Conditioning.

Understood. I read it wrong. 30 amps should be plenty. Will have to watch what is running a little closer. Thank you.
