Anderson Ultimate 5th Wheel Hitch

Hello...I was wondering how many of you are using the Anderson Ultimate 5th Wheel hitch and what your thoughts are on it? We are looking into getting a 5th wheel and I read a lot about it and want to use it. How has it been for those of you that have been using it?

See my signature below. I've had the Andersen Ultimate for about 10,000 miles across freeways and mountain passes and it goes great. Saves $ over std Fifth hitches and most important to me it saved 100 to 150 pounds of payload. It's design meant I also avoided the need for a slider. Do a search on this forum and you will find many positives.

The thing is that I will have to add a B&W turnover ball hitch to the bed of the truck and then get the Anderson hitch. A local shop quoted me the aluminum Anderson and the turnover installed for $1600. The RV dealer was looking into getting the same hitch and I haven't heard what they would charge for it yet. We are still deciding on if we are going to get the 5th wheel or not but I always do my homework ahead of time!
