Another Newbie question on 2509s
Just picked up the 2509s today. I have the "Internal light" switch off, but the radio, awning, slide out and bathroom light still works. I did some research and found that the radio staying on is normal. Is the bathroom light, awning and slide out also normal? or is there a power kill switch besides pulling out the fuses?
Thanks

Did the dealership not show you the battery disconnect switch?

Nope... the sales person was fantastic, but the guy that did the walk around sucked. We kept asking questions and he just seemed annoyed.

The switch should be on the A-frame, for a 2019.

Did you complain to the manager? I always recommend to new buyers, to walk out and tell the manager that you'll be back when they will provide a thorough PDI/walkthrough.
I don't pay for the RV until I get an acceptable PDI and everything needing fixing, is documented.

This is our first travel trailer, so we brought a checklist with us and went through everything that we could. They fixed a few small things we saw, but nothing major. It's one of those things, you don't know what you don't know.

I understand.
I posted this as advice for future buyers. No one should accept a lousy PDI/walkthrough. Don't give them full payment until you've gotten a satisfactory PDI and issues are documented to your satisfaction.
Both my PDI/walkthroughs were 3 hours long.

On my 26FKWS, the internal light switch on the main panel controls ONLY the overhead lights in the main living area. Reading lights over our chairs, the light over the dining table, bathroom, and bedroom are all controlled by their own dedicated switches. I do have a battery disconnect located under the battery tray up front on the A-frame that kills ALL power going into the trailer. On mine, the positive wire (I think) off the battery goes to the switch and everything else is downstream of the switch. On my trailer, there are only two wires connected directly to the battery.
