Thanks for the tip! I actually did drive 1/2 mile away to the parking lot you see in my pics, and 1/2 mile back home. Only did 30mph there and back and I got lucky -- vents stayed in place. I installed vent covers once I got home so I should be good to go.

Hunter, does it have the silver knob like someone else talked about? I just don't think ours came with one.

pg rider - do you use any sideview mirror extenders with your Ridgeline?

Yeah, the "flat" Tow-N-See mirrors from Walmart. $20 each, one for each side. You can also buy convex Tow-N-See mirrors from other stores for a little more. Not sure if they're better, worse, or the same as the flat ones.

Scouter,
Yes it does and it is located aft of your electrical control panel, next to warning alert and before bathroom door. Down low, 8/10 inches off floor.

All packed up and ready to go on our first real camping trip tomorrow! Played around with the rope lights -- I love them but my wife hates them. Guess who's going to win that battle...

You are lucky you can go camping so early. For us we have to wait for the campground to open around the 2nd of may. In the meantime I am dreaming of camping!

Love that photo ... and so envious you can go camping now. We had a little snow this morning in Ontario. Enjoy your first outing with family

Sounds like you are really enjoying that new camper! Have fun and 'keep your powder dry' tonight!

BTW -- Those rope lights are pretty cool. They also have another use - you can use them to help guide you into camp sites when you arrive after dark. We place our lights on the driver side where we want the camper and it makes it much easier to see and back the camper. We power the rope lights with a duracell 12V/110v battery.

We just bought a new 2010 1809. We absolutely love it. It is amazing how much room this mini trailer has.

lapine: the 1809 is a nice trailer and very big inside for the size. If I remember the 1809 is very light on the tonge aprx 138 lbs. we have the 1809s and like it also. Post us a picture of your trailer.

We purchased our 2012, 2109s Mini Lite, last September and took it on its maiden voyage to the Canadian Maritimes. We are currently on another road trip to the southern U.S. and are now in Grande Isle St. Park in Louisiana. So far the trailer has worked well and it tows well. We pull it with a 2011 Toyota Tacoma - V6 and the only complaint, like everyone else, is the gas mileage. A small anoyance is the slide lock mechanism and its placement which is a joke. Also, just yesterday, after reading in this forum, that there are tow clips on the range hood fan, on the exterior, that keep it closed for transit. We ran the fan during our trip last fall and part of this year's trip, not realizing that these clips existed. No mention of them from the dealer on pickup or in the trailer's manual. Other than that, we are totally satisfied with the trailer.

We purchased a 2010 Flagstaff 21FB last year and camped 20 days last year. We are going out this weekend for our first time for 2012. We love our TT especially the front queen bed with heated mattress ....on cold nights. We have added a Hensley Cub Hitch for this year to reduce any sway on the highway. Hope that is going to work great after the big investment $$! Only problem has been the poor fastening of some of the paneling around our bed frame with just staples - have fixed by putting in screws where need.

We up-graded from a Mini-Lite ETC 184 to a Mini-Lite 2304. Got to use the unit a bit last season and really enjoyed the increased interior space. the Murphy Bed / sofa combination is a great use of space and the size of the bathroom is a plus in a unit of this size.
On a scale of 1-10 we rate it at a solid 9. Now if they would add disc brakes a better BBQ and stereo we'd have a 10!!
