Anyone done this mod?

We're looking at a Rockwood 2604WS/Flagstaff 26RLWS (two diff. dealers). Both have a large front window in the trailer. It doesn't open.
Has anyone ever replaced a window similar to this one with a window that has, for instance, jalousies or another way to let in fresh air?

Thanks,
Wright

I would think that trying to keep rain water from getting in while driving is why they dont open.

Oh, but they did at one time.
The window has a fiberglass cap (just like almost all did back in the day) that opens up and forms an awning. My Sunline has this set up. Zero leaks.
