Question Anyone have a Ram with back-up camera?

I have a 2010 Ram with rear backup camera w/alarm and I am wondering how that all works when a trailer is hitched to it.
Meaning, will the alarm sound off every time I reverse because it senses the trailer?
It might have a clear-zone of an area just below the hitch that doesn't set off the alarm (explaining perfectly how I backed into that large boulder last summer ) but I'm not sure.
The camera would be a real help when lining up the hitch but, the alarm would be a real pain in the ____!

Any suggestions?????

I have a ford with the back up camera. I must disarm the alarm while it is hooked up to the trailer. The camera still works but no alarm.

there should be a button in the dash next to the hazzards to shut it off.

It should reset back to on whenever you cycle the engine

Don't forget to hit the button next to it when you drive as well. TOW/HAUL

I have parking sensors in my Ram , but no camera. I would be interested in hearing your feedback as to how helpful it is when trying to hitch up.

I can tell you now the camera makes hitching much easier. Both vehicles for me had cameras mounted at tailgate to give a birds eye view. After 1 or 2 attempta you will learn to compensate for the angle. You will be off ever so slightly..
..

Bought the OEM part and installes myself before i even had trailer due.to past experience in my other vehicle. I love my dw but not confident in her patience in assisting me... now se.just stays in the truck and relaxes.

Oh yeah a bonus: if u ever need to backup in a hard turn you can watch the hitch and make sure you dont drop a bar
