Anyone recognize this part?

It's flexible and has the feel of a flexible, rubber gasket. I found it on the ground after setting up and extending our awning. It may have been left behind by the previous Camper.

Spacer between the awning where it is attached to the wall?

Good Idea, but I checked that out - all rubber spacers between awning brackets and TT seem to be in place.
