Digital thermostat?

Lastly I found when I took off the cover for the A/C inside the camper there was air leaks in the unit and the return air, cold a/c air was being sucked into the return and icing up the unit, lowering the effectiveness of the unit. I was able to use a HVAC tape and seal the leak. Once I did all these I have never had another issue
Frenetti, how did you replace your thermostat? Where did you get it from?

Easy instal, took 15 minutes. Wires are labeled so it was an easy swap out. I believe the new digital thermostat was $40-$50, found online, I simply replaced my Coleman Mach manual thermostat with their Digital version. Nothing fancy, I read different mods where guys are using home use thermostats to be able to have the programable features. The install made a big difference for me, the variance in a digital thermostat is 1-2 degrees versus 4-5 in a manual.

Herman:

If you have a Coleman-Mach, see the attached. I used a Honeywell from Home Depot, but the pic should help you with about any model. You do have to add the switch if you want hi/lo fan speed. If that bothers you, you can go with the Digital Coleman-Mach, which will be plug-and-play, but cost you more (and I don't think it's programmable).
