We counted 175 campers on the road today and no other Windjammer other than ours.

We have a Vlite and other than the 3 or 4 here in town, our local dealer sells them, we have never seen another on the road. Did see a Windjammer last summer.

4300 miles down through Tennessee and we saw one VLite at the CG we stayed at in Nashville. Other than that not another to be seen.

Lots of fun comparing models like that.

End of day two on the road had over another 175ish campers sited and only one V-Nose, and it was one of the new Fivers.

Day three begins across TX, LA, and MS. Still looking.

Saw one V-lite this morning while driving to work. Someone south of Kansas City was on the road early. It was about 5:30.

Hey forum readers! Just got back from a week long trip to Cape Cod, Mass. We left Central NY last Saturday and saw NO other V Nose trailers while enroute to the campground.

We did see a shortened Raptor toy hauler that was a V Nose at the campground. But that was it!

We headed home today. We did see a LOT of camper traffic but still no V Noses!

Love ours though! This was our first "Big" trip with it and I'm happy to say it did phenomenal. I'm pulling it with a Silverado 1500 and with the cruise set at 65 on the nose, I managed to get just about 9 mpg.

Saw a shorter V-lite last night at Wallace State Park near Cameron, MO last night. Drove to Albert Lea, MN KOA today and didn't see any v-noses on the road or in the campground. Maybe they hang out further north. We'll be checking tomorrow when we get back on the road.

Saw a 2014 Windjammer in the state parks we are staying in. And he was using a tundra tow vehicle also.

They came up from the Gulf Coast.

Several days along the north shore of Lake Superior and drove through every state park along the shore line drive. Not a single v-nose. We just pulled into Willow River State Park near Hudson, WI and there is a very small v-nose Jayco trailer that I didn't even know existed. It is called a Skylark. Not a Forest River product but more of them to keep a lookout for.

FUnny, 4300 mile trip and saw one V-Lite in Tennessee. Went camping at a provincial park 3 hours from home this past long weekend and saw 3 in the same area of the park we were in.

Come through the home of Duck Dynasty and you're likely to see at least one V-Lite;

OURS!

Well, not for the next four days as we're *outta* here as soon as the other half gets off work.

I've got 'er loaded and she's sittin out there chompin at the bit, rip rearin to geaux! All he's gotta do is throw in his clothes and hook 'er up.

To WMTire,

If'n ya see this, I told ya where we're headed, and ya know what we're towin'. If'n ya find yourself in that neck of the woods, drop in for a toddy! No beer. We're on-the-rocks kinda folks. :wink:

The Sasks;

I answered that PM with the info ya asked for. It certainly got a fantastic response for me!

I was showing off the windjammer to some relatives on the 4th and our slide would not go out. Anyone ever have this problem? When we called the dealer, they asked if we had the bar in and if we had power. We had not put in the bar, and yes we had power. So, long story short, hubby had to take it to dealer yesterday. They said we had held the slide button too long when pulling it in the last time. I stop as soon as I hear that awful noise, so am not sure about that. They got some kind of crank from the back storage area and got under it and cranked it out. Hubby says it is working fine now, but I am worried about it happening again. Hopefully he can fix if it happens. We take our first trip with "her" tomorrow. I'll keep a watch out for other v fronts and report back. Vi

Saw a VR1 and a V-lite this morning in southern Iowa headed north. Just completed a 2200 mile trip and not a single Windjammer. A few other v-nose trailers along the way but not another Jammer.

Saw a platinum Windjammer heading west today on 74 coming out of Tabor City, NC. Who'da thunk we'd see one out in the middle of nowhere, but we did! Saw none coming down I95 yesterday and today.

The Other Windjammer at Paul B. Johnson State Park

We always take a tour around the campground and look what we found. Brand new Windjammer. Two in the same park, go figure.

That picture wasn't taken today, was it? There has been no sun here today. I live less than a mile from where you are parked! I'll recognize those trees anytime.
