Where is the group planning to stay? My TT is stored in the Oasis RV Resort. I am not signed up and the site indicates it is full but I could stop in for a visit. We have a trip into Utah the weekend of the 13th and will probably head back out to Joplin, MO.

Coming home from Devils Den State Park in northwest Arkansas, saw a Windjammer heading south on US 71 and exiting in Carthage, MO. About 12:30 this afternoon.

Windjammer Sightings

Got our used 2011 three weeks ago and saw two others on HWY 50 near Placerville on our shake down trip. i have seen a couple more on the way to Yosemite, Lee Vining and Sonora Pass (not a good place for anything but a jeep trailer). Best RV in Turlock seems to always have several in stock and they say they do not stick around. Our rigs are distinctive and easy to spot. Just not a lot out there yet.

We are a couple of empty nesters so we don't have the regular people hauling role for our tow vehicle. We were looking for a good deal on an F250 and ended up getting a better deal on a new F-350. It tows our 2690 with ease and the up and down grades are handled without strain. Since the 26 to 30 footers are getting close to 8,000 lbs without cargo and passengers and if you are planning some long trips in exciting geography I would recommend an f-250 or equal for the Jammers. If your tow vehicle is not busting its hump to get through steep terrain it will las longer, be more comfortable and dependable. The extra TV weight and stiffer chassis will all but eliminate sway and reduce wind buffeting in a properly set up tow package.

Welcome to the v-nose family. Enjoy your trailer and maybe we'll cross paths one day!

Have had a wonderful trip to Ruidoso, NM. No V nose sightings from Texas to NM. But on the return trip we stopped in Fort Stockton and there is a Cougar v-nose and a v-light. Total of 3 in the park

Just finished an 11 day trip from Norcal to Fla (3 nites in Santa Fe and 2 nites in Natchez)(traveled US 84, The El Camino East/West Corridor from Santa Fe to just north of Hattiesburg. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/US_84_)

Saw a V Nose going West on I-40 near Santa Rosa, NM on the 14th and a Windjammer in the River View RV Park in Vidalia. LA (across the Mississippi Bridge from Natchez,MS) on the 16th. Highly recommend this RV park - something about sitting on the banks of Ole Man River.
