We bought a 2017 Windjammer 3025W last week, haven't taken it out yet though but we are having fun playing with it in the back yard. I still can't get over how much stuff we had in our old trailer and I swore I was not going to put it all in the new trailer but you know how that goes.

Had 3025W for two years now and love it. Pulls great and few problems. Travel on

I am surprised. We don't see a lot of them during our travels. However, when we took our first trip, the first place we stopped, we were put next to another with the same floor plan. Theirs is the diamond, ours is the white platinum.

LOVE the ducted dual AC units. They are pretty quiet anyway. But so nice to turn one on at whatever end of the trailer you're not, and pipe the cool air through the ducts. Then it's REAL quiet.

We just ordered our Windjammer 3008w last week. We'll be counting the weeks until it's ready. The 3008w has a reconfigured bathroom for 2017 as well as offering the auto-leveling option.

In terms of seeing them, we noticed a few last year when camping in the Myrtle beach area.

Will do. The 2618VS is the front kitchen Ultra V. We pick it up Feb. 20th.

I towed my 3001W with a half ton Chevy, 2015 double cab 4x4 a little bit. It did ok I guess.
Traded for a 2500HD with duramax and towed it to florida, I much prefer the 2500HD.

Saw a Windjammer today on Calif State Route 58 headed west, we were headed east. It's only the 3rd one we have seen on the road in 7 months of travelling. Have seen maybe 5 at campgrounds and even more V-nose Flagstaffs, the Flagstaff variety seem to be more popular at the campgrounds we have been to.

We bought a Rockwood 2618 VS last August and had to drive from MO to OH to pick it up. No dealers in MO had it. Spoke to one at an RV show the previous year and he said he would call when one came in. Well, they never did. No one had them locally when we were looking and we found it at a dealership in OH. So off we went.
We had it out 2 X last fall and love it. 2 long trips already planned (TN and CO) and several weekend trips to local campgrounds reserved. Did I mention we love it. It pulls great and has plenty of room.

Guess now the V-lite will be offered with the auto leveling system. Would be nice to know what the price is? BTW both units made same factory. Later RJD

If you look at the FR website for the Flagstaff V-lite, the 4.0 leveling jacks are listed as an option. I can only estimate that it's around a $2000 option based on quote differences based on a handful of configuration changes we made to the unit. Google 'Ground Control TT' for more info

You may get Gull-wing in the rear depending on the frame size.

The big seller for me was the hitch memory feature. The fact that it would raise the hitch to the same height as when you decoupled was what sold it for me.

One question I still have is it appears that you don't really have to use blocks to pre-level the trailer side-to-side, but on a particularly unlevel site, if the leveling system raised one set of tires almost off the ground, you lose the benefit of the wheel chocks

It would only be used to raise it to back up underneath with the ball. Once you lower the hitch on the ball and latch it,then you can raise and lower the tongue as required to attach the bars.

Not having to guess on the hitch height is great.

My ball is usually about 2" from the hitch when I raise it. Not much guessing required.

It's a system I'd like to have but not going to trade tt for the new system and not going to spend the buck to add on that's for sure. Guess should have waited a couple years. Later RJD

I still don't know what it is.

Is it a pretty gull?

Since I don't use mine but 3 times a year, doubt I'll need 1 either.

But I'm curious about the leveling system, is this a 6 point system?

Have they beefed up the frame to be able to lift the tires off the ground?

The "Gull Wing" system looks like a Beefed Up "Elect. Stabilizer System" that has been "Cut in Half"! The Complete system "4.0" is like I stated ,2 gull wing/2verticle/and 1 tongue jack, total of (5)! Now you can Add Elect.stablizers in the Rear but these will be Controled Separatory! Your guess is as good as mine on whether Lippert "Beefed Up the Frame" ??? Youroo!!
