We just picked up our 2012 Windjammer 2609W on Monday and have spent the last couple of days buying and organizing stuff for it! LOVE IT so far and haven't even had it to a park yet! We have sat at the dining room table the last couple of nights with a glass of wine wishing it was warmer!!

I haven't seen too many of these "V-nose" around this area (western iowa), but since we're just getting back into "the camper thing", I probably haven't been the most observant in the past couple of years.

We are going ot have a blast and love looking at the "modificaiton" posts on this site to get more ideas!!

Happy camping!

Unfortunately we have a change in plans. Was set to meet up with a fellow Windjammer owner this weekend but some family issues have come up and plans have been put on hold. So now our Windjammer will head south to Heyburn Park, OK for a long weekend this Friday. Hopefully we'll see some v-nose trailers down there.

Passed a V-Lite heading north as we were going south on I65 south of Birmingham, AL.

Just got home from a 3 day weekend to Heyburn Lake near Tulsa. Only v-nose we saw was one on the lot at Mid America RV near Carthage, MO as we drove by on I-49.

Kind of a strange camping trip--Corp of Engineer park--decent, not great. Friday night had 1 tent and 3 trailers; Saturday night had 2 tents and 3 trailers; Sunday night--just us and one other trailer. Like camping in a ghost town!

Hey folks!
Looks like I'm in rare company I spent over 3 months looking for just the right TT and stumbled across the windjammer 3008w. I looked at hundreds, drove hundreds of miles with a toddler and a teen to make sure we got the best we could afford and meet our needs. We made the purchase to be nearer to an older relative. I have many questions but most pressing are these. Where does the tv go in the bedroom (we take deliver next week, but did not see the bedroom tv on the walk through) and do you think I can wrestle a king size mattress into that bedroom. Thank you for any input.

There are power and antenna outlets on the wardrobe and dresser area. No mounts to move the 32" from the living room. Seems best for a table top flat screen on top of the wardrobe. 20" would be a good size.

As for the king size mattress, the slide out is the headboard of the queen bed. No room that I can see to make it a king.

Congrats on the your purchase. There is no way to put a king size bed in there because there are two side shelves (narrow night stands) near the headboard and when the slide is in--the short queen mattress bumps up against the wardrobe. Don't see how you can do it.

Enjoy your trailer.
