Are Jammers Headed for Extinction?

I don't think so.

I purchased a 2013 3008W which I have used in the northern and central mountains of Colorado for 7 nights.

During my last trip back from Rocky Mountain National Park I saw a Jammer. Not too long ago I saw a Jammer westbound on I 70 entering the Eisenhower Tunnel. I don't recall where I saw the other one.

While camping near Grand Lake, CO I had one couple admire the Jammer telling me that they were going to upgrade to one for their next RV purchase.

Enjoy and be safe!

What state park in Michigan? We live in Woodhaven,MI so maybe we will cross paths. We camp all over southeast Michigan and are heading up to Mackinaw City on Wednesday and will be up there for 10 days. Can't wait for some camping time with the family.

Oops. Meant to say "Ludington State Park". No v-nose action there this week, but it was beautiful! Drove up to Traverse City on US-31 today...still no sightings.

Going to Wallace State Park north of KC in about 10 minutes. One Windjammer will be there. Will be looking for FRF decals as well.

Wasn't very crowded at the state park this past weekend. We had the only V-nose there. Even got some much needed rain! It was nice hearing it hit the roof.

Just took delivery on a 2012 3008W yesterday. Labor Day wknd is the maiden voyage. It appears that I have to start the Windjammer Wave in Western NY.

Only problem found so far is a bad stereo remote and my Blue Ox swaypro hitch does not fit well on the V nose. Guess it will be a Reese Trunion or an Equalizer to purchase. Maybe Santa can help out.

Welcome to the family and I see you have an '11 Ecoboost as well. What color? We may be twins! Enjoy your maiden voyage. We are taking ours out for its longest trip so far (at least in terms of consecutive nights camped) beginning this Friday. We've covered some mileage this year. Oklahoma/Texas state line at Easter, south Georgia in June and now South Dakota coming up. Mix in several more local trips and we are loving every minute in our 3008! Have fun!

Black FX4 crew. No chrome. Beautiful when it's clean. I wanted the tri coat red but when you buy in november, ya can't be picky. The Ecoboost handled the camper with no problem. Had sway though at 55 plus. I attribute to the location on the A frame. The dealer could not set the mounts back far enough to let the chains hang straight.

I have the tri coat red so we got close to the twins match. Got mine the last day of 2011 and choices were limited. I have the 10,000 lb Equalizer weight distribution/sway control set up and it's great. It gets a little noisy on slow speed/sharp turns but they tell me that means it's working. We've hauled it around quite a bit and love the control over the trailer.

My Eqaulizer made a lot of noise when i first got it, i noticed that the swivel joints at the hitch were wearing into the metal and after doing some reading found out they were suppose to be greased. I put a little grease on them before each trip and the noise is much better and I haven't notice any more wear . :-)

Purchased an Equalizer 12,000 lb today from CW. On sale. Beat my dealers discounted price by $ 120.00. Try tomorrow to swap out the hitches. Time to learn.
