We are on the fringe of the Badlands and staying at a KOA campground and as usual, we are the only V-nose on sight. Didn't see any on the road in our estimated 300 miles total driving today. Maybe tomorrow when we make our way over for three nights at Custer State Park.

Three days/nights in Custer State Park and the campgrounds are not crowded but we still seem to be the only v-nose around. Haven't seen any of any brand. Start heading home tomorrow unfortunately. Maybe we'll see some then.

We were in Custer State Park, Game Lodge Campground, for 6 days. At the end of July 1st week of Aug. We saw a windjammer drive through and one from Kansas arrive the day before we left!!!! In addition, we passed a V Lite in the badlands national park!!! Have not seen any since returning to Mn.

9days on the road--2400 miles--and not a single Windjammer. Posted earlier that we saw a v-nose in Freemont, NE over Labor Day weekend and ran down the road for awhile with a V-Cross fiver on Labor Day. A lot of trailers seen while in South Dakota but not anything pointy.

Randy, I know that you didn't see any Windjammers on your trip, I spotted two today. The first was seen headed down 59 highway this morning on the SW side of Saint Joseph. The second was spotted headed S on I29 about 15 miles S of Saint Joseph this afternoon after we were headed back from NFM at Legends. About three weeks ago I decided to drive thru the RV park in Saint Joseph off of the main drag through town and there sat a Windjammer. No one was around, so I didn't stop and visit.

The pointy noses are out there. They just seem to be hard to spot. We only seen the one in our 1600 mile trip in CO this June. The weekend you stopped by at Long Branch we met two WJ on 36 highway when we headed home.

We made trip into SD in 2010 in rental tt and enjoyed it. Custer State park is a great place to visit along with the area attractions. Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse and the Needles highway along with many more.

We are planning on returning to that area next year after visiting Fort Robinson in NW Nebraska.

Mike, I was headed down I-29 on Sunday out of St. Joe somewhere around 5 PM. Quick bite to eat for the last stretch home. Could have been me.

I know they're out there; just hard to find. The only other Jammers I've seen outside of Long Branch when I met you and saw Rebel, we have only seen 1 other unit in a campground it was one of the shorter models. I'll keep looking.

According to my dw, it probably was you Randy. She said that the truck color and time was about right. Guess I need to pay more attention to the tow vehicle.

I was still in a fog after getting home at 3 am from the MU/Georgia game. What a blast for 3 1/2 quarters and then a blowout. Should have went camping instead of going to Columbia. Nothing like college football and having a good time with my son and one of his friends though.

Mike, I have to admit, I was pulling for Georgia. My daughter is a Dawg and I lived down there for 23 years. Welcome to the SEC!

Thanks for the welcome. My son is a Mizzou alum. We are looking forward to planning road/camping trips to away SEC games. I might ask for some info later on sights to see and places to visit.

We had a good time with some dawg fans this weekend.

Strap it on, Mike...

Gonna be fun for you. My daughter got her masters at Auburn. There is nothing like SEC football.

We came out Wed after Labor Day and first stop was a little trailer park in south western Missouri. As we set up we noticed our nearest neighbor across the way was a Windjammer....we are a V Lite. Neighbors weren't home and we left early next a.m. But it was great seeing another V nose first day out.

2102W at Ludington SP...

I spotted what I believe was a Windjammer 2102W (hard slide at rear for king bed) in the Beechwood Campground at Ludington State Park this past weekend.
