Bedroom A/C Issues

So we are headed out tonight and were setting up the 5er today.

Living Room's A/C Blows Siberian cold Bedroom is cooler than outside, but not anywhere the chilly cold of the LR.

The BR A/C worked Fine over memorial day weekend. Now, not so much.

Went up on the roof to take a look, all looks OK only thing I have noticed is the BR A/C is not draining water like the LR A/C is.

Any ideas out there?

TIA,

Bob

If the coils are clean and fan blowing like it should could be you have a refrigerant leak.

I.E. "not sweatin back" on the cold lines.

(ex was old school a/c repair...he could properly charge a unit with Freon by "feeling" the Freon lines)

I'd agree with Presley

Started another thread this morning just in case it is a different issue....now the LR A/C is whistling sheesh!

The rig is not even 8 months old...hard to imagine having a refrigerant leak in both units...

Gonna call the RV dealer at our destination to see if they can look at our rig...more to follow

Bedroom A/C Issues

 July 4th camping trip a nogo...for some bizarre reason BOTH A/C units have failed. Coleman is already closed for the 4th and they can't get warranty parts until next week. :sigh:

Now you can mount your poles, pull the tops off the ac units, line them with reflexit and paint the outsides white. OR do what I plan on doing this weekend, NOTHING! Gotta practice as I'm signing with the pro's next week.

Don't cancel! Google "$15.00 air conditioner" and make up a couple of those for the trip.

wmtire saw it the first time I posted about it here, said he was gonna make up a couple...if he can do it I KNOW you can!

My AC isn't really cooling us, either. 92 inside, 95 outside. I'll call RVW on Monday to see about having it checked.

Weezer.....

I love small Family owned Alabama RV dealers!!!

When they saw how bummed we were, they got our the living room A/C partly!!! Repair (warranty) will happen next week. We have a fan to blow in the bedroom And AND AND.... When we got to the CG a wind was blowing over the TN river and the highs are only gonna be in the lower 80s this weekend and 50-60° at night WOOT!

Got here a tad late in the day (1745) but we are partly set up now and sipping adult beverages as the char su pork loin grills.

Some bean sprouts to have as a side dish and dinner is served on the shores of the TN river!!

Oh and before you say anything OC YES I am working on the awning support poles in the morning

Oh and Weezer, that A/C DIY is AWESOME!!

My only mod would be consider dry ice (still thinking about that though)

There IS a home depot nearby so if the temps do go up, I will do this (I have my drill and attachments for the awning pol mod )

Cool, we are at 6600 feet little wind lot of shade and a iced tea within easy reach.

Will be spending the Fourth out of town for the first time in 10 years and off the ground to boot.

I've heard that dog bark before, ependydad has had a set for over a year and comes up with every excuse in the world and they're still not mounted. You are starting to run a close second.

Weezer cracked the whip on poor Peter and he sat up and took notice and even put a fancy finish on both sets. She has 2 sets mounted now.
