Bedroom TV Mount in 2608WS

We are looking to mount a TV in the bedroom of our Rockwood Ultra Light 2608WS. I have seen some posts in other forums say that there should be a metal backer plate behind the wall where the sticker is located. However, when I use a magnet, I could find no metal backing plate.

Has anyone installed a tv in the bedroom of the 2608WS? Ours is a 2015 model and we got the same mounting bracket as was installed with the tv in the living area.

So how do we mount it? Just assume there is wood behind the sticker? How long of screws should we use?

Any help would be appreciated. This forum has been very helpful to us over the past two months. Keep up the good work everyone!

2608WS Bedroom TV Mount

I just did this to our 2016 Rockwood 2608WS (see pics).

TV=Vizio E231-B1 23" LED 720P
Articulating arm TV Mount=Videosecu Articulating arm TV LED Monitor Wall Mount
Travel Strap (Not shown in pics)= Ready America MRV3515 Travel TV Safety Strap
All 3 items available thru Amazon.

The "TV Backer Board" is wood on mine and you can "Feel" it behind the wall board. I used a small drill bit to confirm the mounting holes for the arm. The problem is that the backer board is mounted too far toward the wardrobe slide to directly mount the TV. So the articulating arm mount is mounted to the backer board and "offsets" the TV to the correct location as shown. Please IM me for more info. This project turned out good and the wife is happy with it (Great Picture). The overhead shelf has room for a future satillite receiver. Our small DVD player is shown on it now. (double-sided tape holds it to shelf) The shelf is 17" long and 8" deep. The wardrobe slide stops 2 inches from the shelf when slid in. The slide also goes over about 3 inches of the TV on the left side with 1 1/2" clearance. The safety strap holds the TV to the wall for travel. Hope this helps you. Please IM me if you have any questions.
