Best 5th wheel lock ever???

Now that I can move the revolution pin box by hand, I came up with an interesting side benefit...
Could this be the best lock ever?!!!

Afraid a truck and chain on the pin will still turn the pin box and probably shear the padlock. I wouldn't really worry about it, don't hear of many 5er's being stolen.

Debatable if you could shear the lock off by pulling really hard on the kingpin but I agree there are not too many reports of 5th wheel trailers being stolen... thank goodness.

Just thought it was kind of a neat idea... to keep the honest people honest!!

I have heard that phrase a lot over the years, always a head scratcher for me as I wonder how "honest" somebody is if all it would take to make them un-honest is to find something without a cheap lock on it?

I use the RoadPro RPKPSL-2 Heavy Duty Steel King Pin Lock. It's pretty rugged and intimidating.

The other thing is if the thief doesn't have the same hitch and you have the revolution engaged with the wedge he may not even be able to connect to the 5'er.
