Big key, little key, CH51

Okay, I am beginning to feel a bit dumb. My 8318SS has a key for the main entry door/deadbolt as well as the infamous CH51 key for storage compartments. I also have an additional key but have absolutely no clue what it is for. I have searched high and low. Someone please enlighten me!

Could the dealer have given you a key the optional rear storage door on some models by mistake?

BTW,...You sure it's not CH751 on the storage door key?

milzat - you are correct, the key is a CH751. I walked around the camper today with both keys in hand and discovered the CH751 key works on all exterior storage locks. The "other" key in question will also open all exterior locks (shower included) with the exception of the storage compartment on the front right side of the camper. It just so happens, that was the first compartment I tested the "other" key on so I discounted the fact that it might work on any other exterior compartment. So, long story short - the CH751 key works universally on the exterior - there is no real need to carry the "other" key.

Thanks - Nathan

I'm a new owner and I don't understand why it's an "infamous" CH751 key. Are they all the same?

Yes. If you have a CH751 key you can open every storage compartment on every camper in the campgound unless the lock was changed by the owner.
That storage lock is only good for keeping the storage doors closed during travel, not for keeping people out. Dumb, but that is the way it is. If you store valuable stuff in your compartments, change the locks.
