Black and Grey Tank Pulls

I have a 2011 Rockwood 8281ss that has the 4 tanks and 4 pulls. The labels have come off of the front black and grey tanks. I do not remember which pull is for what tank. Can someone please tell me what pull is for what tank on the drains for the front bathroom?

Not familiar, but I'd bet whichever tank is closest to being under the toilet is the black one.

Not quite sure about this, I know my Rockwood has three valves. The first which is closest to the shower is my Black tank, the second is my gray shower near the head, the third is my galley gray. I also forgot so I waited until I went to dump, had a clear adapter on before I pulled each one, then you can see what is coming out of it, then I remarked them all.....

Gray tank piping smaller in diameter. Also sometimes the pipes are gray and black. Black tanks are under the toilets. From there, follow the piping.

Empty all the tanks. Then, put 4-5 gallons in one tank and start putting handles until you find the right one. Repeat for each tank, one at a time.

Our model is fully enclosed under the trailer and I cannot see any of the pipes and both handles are on the opposite side from my shower and toilet. I will use the bucket and see which tank goes to which handle. Thanks guys for your input.

Another way possibly...put different color food dyes in and watch for the colors.

if you have a clear clean out attachment and you pull the lines you will very quickly re-learn which one is what.

then mark the Grey water tanks pulls with grey masking tape around the line.

Urine has a very distinct color - especially if you drink too much beer and not enough water.
the other difference is most showers and kitchen sinks don't have toilet paper floating down the drain.

Big lever, black, both start with B. The big handle is the Black tank.

Black and Grey Tank Pulls

If you have a guage on the control panel that lets you know how full the tanks are let them all fill at least half way then pull one and let it drain then read the guage to see which one emptied. I have a different model but the same happened to me and that's how I figured it out.

The black tank drain pipe and valve are typically larger than the grey tank drain pipe and valve. If you have a black and grey tank draining from the same point it should look something like this but some trailers have the valves remote from the outlet and the valves have long cables to the handles.

I can tell you

We have the 2013 model of your rig.
Starting at the front they are front bathroom gray tank pull, front bathroom black tank pull.
Go Bach about 3 feet for the galley gray tank pull and then all the way back for the back bathroom gray/black tank pull.
On ours they actually hay yhe front handles color coded for what tank they are for.

so far none of my TT had labels just a black handle for the black tank and a gray handle for the gray tank. I"ve owned 2 FR TT and both were like that. We were parked next to a Landmark and he had the black and gray handles for his tanks. Not sure if all are setup like that
