Black ANTI SIPHON/Vacuum break

If anyone has a Rockwood/ flagstaff 5er. Do you know if we have a black plastic anti siphon valve, and more important where is it located like the one shown in the Crusaded post and warning? When winterizing I blew air and heard some gurgle sound behind my shower enclosure. Took the shower fixture off and couldn't find anything except the hot and cold plex lines. I don't think we have one, anyone know or found there's?...

Moderators, can you move this to General Discussion, seems I can't get an answer under Rockwood where I placed it, maybe some more will read it and I can get a answer? Thanks

Thanks I just checked it is not under mine, I just can not find it anywhere. I called my dealer he said he never heard of it, so great help from the dealer.... I have a hot and cold plex line and my heater duct to the bedroom only boxed in and I removed the box, it's not there on a 8289WS. I have looked from heaven to hell for it. Only thing I haven't done is taken out my shower surround enclosure. Thanks for giving me a place to look now I know what is behind that 3 sided enclosure. Like I said I heard a gurgle behind the shower wall when I blew out the black tank flush line, but when I pulled the faucets it not there either. If I have one it has to be some place it can be serviced without pulling a whole shower out. But who's know's I love my FR unit but this crazy.

Look directly behind and above the black tank flush hose inlet.

You may have to measure from something you CAN locate to find about where that vacuum break is located.

I have traced it as far as I can It runs next to my hot and cold for the shower and sink and the toilet flush. Once it go into that hole where the hot and cold go to the shower and bath sink, I can't find it, like I said I did here a gurgle behind the shower wall but no access at all. It doesn't cross over in the basement to the tank. When it go's up that hole in the corner of the shower I lose it. 2 rubber hose's run next to each other. I assume 1 is my flush and the other is the BTF. It's like regular water hose. They both go up that hole in the corner then disappear. There is a raised floor there I thinking it's in between the floor and the ceiling in the basement. The basement ceiling is level front to back. Has 3/4" plywood for the basement ceiling.

Thanks I'll pull the faucet again, but didn't see it but heard it in the wall when I blew air through the line> I hopes it's not laying on the ground. I will pull it apart again in the AM. It's been driving me crazy. Thanks B&B, and you to Herk..

Okay thanks B&B, I saw it but couldn't touch it. How stupid is FR to put it there, it is not serviceable. There is no slack in the line to pull it out. You would have to cut the hose in the basement where it go's up and then cut the hose again near the tank to pull it out if it broke or pull the whole shower out. DUMB,DUMB and a PITA.

Just wondering the mechanics of an anti siphon valve and it's intended purpose, if you don't mind a quick lesson.
