Broken window

First of all, Im new here. Looks like a wealth of knowledge, for that thanks to all. I have a 2014 8311ss. The window on the rear got broken from bikes jumping around on bike rack while in tow. My trailer has the frameless tinted windows. I removed the entire frame and window and took to my local glass shop. They canít do anything with it. That leaves only the dealer. Is there a better/cheaper way for me to get a new window? Can I order direct from Rockwood? Thanks in advance

You'll probably get better help from someone with experience in the area, but I have noticed at least two RV only glass shops in my town. There is (or at least used to be) a fair amount of RV manufacturing around here though...that may be why they exist.

We don’t have any RV only local glass shops, dealer says Rockwood takes 4-6 weeks to ship also.

It's not a Rockwood piece. Someone makes RV windows and there has to be another source.
Do you know what brand it is?
There are 2 brands shown here

You'll be replacing more than a window at some point with bikes bouncing around on that back bumper.

If you're comfortable installing it yourself I know there are a number of specialty places for online ordering. I've never used them, but I know a couple of folks who have.

Easy RV Window Replacement

They are out of Indiana.

Probably either an HEHR or Kinro window, which are both easy to find and order from several places on the internet.

At least in Heaven, RVs will be perfect, and I won't have to keep fixing them.

yes, Ive removed the entire frame and ring already. Its in my trunk. Im comfortable doing it, rather than paying the stealer to do it.
