Cabinet door mishap

In opening the slide out on my 2019 2604WS, I heard a loud crack. It turns out one of the upper cabinet doors opened in transit or was left partially opened. The slideout ripped the cabinet door off. So, make sure you check cabinet doors around a slideout when opening & closing. Don’t know if the hinge can be repaired.

Yes, every so often someone reports what happened to you. Always check around slides before closing and opening if all clear. A check list helps a lot.

Hope it can be repaired and your back camping soon.
We actually have that on our check list. Close all cabinet doors.

Several years ago when it happened to us The door was fine and I went to Lowe's and bought a new cabinet door hinge and we were back in business.

The clearance in the 2604ws is very minimal. We have not had a cabinet door come open but the fold down shelf under the TV did the same thing. Also one of our first trips we forgot to strap the TV. Needed a new TV anyway.

This is how close our upper cabinet door pull is to our slide out when it is retracted. The slide actually touches the pull when it travels in or out.

I’d remove the grab handle and then file/sand the standoff legs down a bit to make room. If they touch each other now.....things may only get worse with time and wear & tear.

X? Had it happen to be except BH man door. Not a good sound to hear. Bought one of those rings to go behind door knob and new knob and a little “engineering”.

That's a HUGE YES !! Don't ask how I know. Had to do with a LARGE can of baked beans that escaped from a cabinet and wasn't noticed. Hydraulic slides...have a lot of power.
