There is one real close to there right on the lake. Do not remember the name, Google Indian Lake camping.
I see it posted a lot.

Indian Lake State Park is very close to where I think you are picking up your unit. I don't think they water is turned on until April 1st though. Search the website just to make sure. Good luck and enjoy.

East Harbor state park is near by on Rt 269. There's a KOA right on RT 163/269 also, Fort Firelands is the name if I recall. Other private places up there. We have a boat near by but I don't yet have my toyhauler to give more park info.

ETA, oops, I was thinking Lakeside, not Lakeview. Sorry!

I stayed there after taking delivery of my 2014 Rockwood. Spend at least two full days and go over everything. The folks at RVW prefer your doing this so they can deal with any issue immediately.
I invited my salesman and his wife over for cocktails one of the evenings I camped there to talk about the trailer and have him show me all the ins and outs of the Genesis 3.0.
I had a few minor things so I broke out the supplied gas grill (a good test) and had the shop foreman out for lunch. While the burgers were cooking, he fixed/adjusted everything I needed.
Make it a fun trip. The RVW folks are good people.

Several years ago, we picked up a fiver from RVW and ended driving down a two lane road with a very low tunnel that I hadn't seen on the GPS. Later, RVW told us of a guy driving home in a brand new fiver who hit the bridge on the way home and sheered off the top. So, before you head west, ask them where the tunnel is located.

Campground only has two shower houses, they are older. The dumping station is on the way out of the park, at the front gate. Get water at the shower houses out front. Registration is at the store, not at the entrance office.
Nice park, lots of trees and lots of open spaces also. I am sure you will have your choice of parking sites. Park has lake access.
We stayed here last June. Very busy park during the summer season.
