can anyone help by telling me what this is and where does it go?

OK folks,
Coming up to the first anniversary having bought this 2005 Rockwood 8124SS. Great first fifth wheel for our little family.
As we were cleaning it for our first trip out this year I found this part under the bed. What is it exactly and where does it mount? It looks like an extra for the table but I've looked everywhere and can't figure out where would it mount...
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks
Alex P

Need picture.

But, maybe table for outside? Is there a track on the wall of your camper and a matching track on the "table"?

Reads like a arm table for the couch or a chair.
A picture of it would help.

LoL you guys are too quick! Please see updated post above. It took you less time to read and reply than it took me to upload the pictures LoL

I think you're correct but there is a metal bracket that this attaches to and can't find where...

Hummmm?!

Could be a counter extension.
Check and see if there are any screw holes on the side of the counters, pervious owner may have removed the bracket.

On our "Little One" there are two of these extensions one for the counter & one on the outside wall where the gas grill mounts. Both places have the matching mounting rail.

It sure looks like one. This was my first thought too. No holes anywhere whatsoever. I even looked outside but no luck. If you have one, where is it mounted from the factory? Or is it even mounted from the factory to begin with?

Thanks for your reply! Would it be possible to upload a couple of pictures of your setup?

No extension in the lite.

Did you find in inside or in a storage bay?

That is the exact type I have on my PUP and it's a hang on table top . Why you don't have a runner to hook it too is beyond me. Could have been put in by accident?

We have one that looks like that. Our RV has a matching bracket on the curb side of the RV above the gas connection for the BBQ grill that came with the unit. Did your RV come with a BBQ grill? Does it have an outside gas connection for a BBQ grill, look in the area of the gas connection for the matching bracket.

Exactly what we have on our 2014 flagstaff---it slides onto a track on the outside of your 5er to be placed next to your outside grill (hope you have that too). The grill mounts on a bracket which slides onto the same track. Enjoy!

Thanks for your reply. Our unit did not come with a BBQ grill (I wish it did today !) And I'm not aware of an outside connection for gas... all I was ever shown was the two locations for propane bottles. The mystery deepens. .. LoL

hello and thanks for your suggestion. I have already looked everywhere in the bedroom as there is another table like this one but different setup to hold the TV. That one is mounted permanently though...

I think the only way to find where it mounts is to buy a receiver rack and mount it. Then Murphy's law dictates the original location will reveal itself in a timely manner... LoL Seriously where can I buy one ? CW?
