its a table for the outside. I have the exact one for my 2006 5th wheel. There should be a bracket on the outside, door side that it fits on. It was not an option on my trailer so you should have the bracket on your also.

just took you some pics of what you have and where it goes. We have the same thing.

It's as everyone has said, an accessory table for the grill.
If you didn't order the grill option, it won't be easy to duplicate the whole setup.
I think someone at the factory put the table in by mistake, since most are built with the grill option.

The shelf is for the bracket outside where the BBQ can mount. Saw one on a Flagstaff at the rally in IN two years ago. Asked the techs about it, and was able to pick one up. Great for the electric coffee pot and goodies for the heavy coffee drinkers, don't have to run back into the rig so much. Just wish the electric outlet was closer or at least on the same side of the door under the awning.

Not a difficult job to add an outlet where you want it.

What everyone else said....outside shelf on which to set stuff next to the grill.

If you do not have the bracket, this shelf was put inside be mistake, or "gifted" to the prior owner from someone who had the bracket, but found it only marginally useful.

My final advice, if you lack the track bracket on your 2005....don't try to buy and install one.......recycle/repurpose this shelf.....or, next time you're at a campground and see an RV with an outside track.....pleasantly surprise them with this shelf....(there, didn't that feel like a nice thing to do!)

Interesting question and marvelously documented with pictures.

peace/out

We had a similar table in our 2010 Eagle , it was suppose to mount on the bedroom wall to set a small tv on , collapse's for travel , we never installed it.

The key is going to be you finding the rail that this shelf sits on. I have that same one as a outside table next to the side mounted grill. As said above, they have an interior shelf. You just need to keep looking around for the rail that it sits on. You find that, you find where the shelf goes.

Good luck,

Vin.

It connects to the side of your trailer OUTSIDE where you would attach the optional BBQ grille (if you purchased it).

Aux Table

The item you have is an auxiliary table for use with your outdoor grill.

It mounts on the rail next to your outdoor grill. Hope this helps.

Several options, it is a table, can be mounted inside or outside for a TV. Check for a piece of aluminum that the table will mount to.

It is a table for the outside of your rig...the metal rails slide into a metal channel along the side of your rig.

Here is a shot of ours on a recent campout - it's a handy thing to have around

Any help is appreciated.
Thanks

It looks like an extended counter with a swing out molded gusset for support

Expended ad X2. There should be a little piece of track on the outside on the canopy side that it slides into.

Ah, I see the problem. Your trailer is laying on it's side. Flip it over and look for the bracket again.
