I note that among the features in my unit's brochure is " 3/8" Walk-On Roof Decking" which seems standard on all the Salem models. But I don't see any reference in Rockwood, but as the others have said, it shouldn't be a problem.... deck shoes are a good idea though, at least on the rubber roofs, and take time to pick out any stones & gravel from the tread. That stuff is pretty sensitive, Vinyl is tougher I guess, but still.

  • Salem 401-2b; 31" Sony Trinitron and two channels on the antenna.
  • Smokin' hot wife... 2 boys, 25 and 10.

Angry Mud on your new roof?

Went to the Altanta Fall RV show and the local Rockwood dealer was set up across the street. (Way cheaper, they said) This particular salesman had a habit of climbing up to the roof and jumping up and down on the trailer.

Fortunately, I wasn't going to buy that particular unit. The dude had to be 240 pounds. So when you buy your trailer, look for mud on the roof.

But yeah, you can walk all over your Rockwood/Flagstaff, with some degree of care for the trailer and your own safety.

The roof is not intended to carry any weight in any one spot
