We bought a Trump mattress at Goshen rally. They sell a Bellagio now at FR Store or Lippert has Denver mattresses as well. We found the new mattress was better for the first 2 seasons but is letting us down now, might be the cold winter is effecting the foam parts, I don't know.

I took my sofa out also, yes it had to be disassembled, built a desk to fit in that area.
Desk has drawers that offer more storage than was under the uncomfortable sofa.
That won't solve your sons problem, but....... how often does he travel with you? Kids usually love to overnight in sleeping bags on the floor.
We have 2 recliners and did not sit on the sofa. Just another idea, less expensive than a trade.

I. Dropped the Jammer at the dealer yesterday and asked about removing the couch and replacing it with recliners. Dealer said as those here have said it would not be cost effective at least not with rv furniture. DW suggested putting a small ottoman in front of the couch and trying to find some type of small sit between the sofa and the dinette. I think this may be workable . I am looking for input and any pics of your arrangements. Thanks
