Check valve for freshwater tank line

Anybody install a check valve in their freshwater tank line? If so what brand did you use? Thank you

Are you having an issue?
Several have had an issue with fresh tank filling via city water line, basically pump allowing water past (internal check valve/diaphragm) letting water past. If that is the case you could use one of these, very simple solution: SharkBite 1/2 in. Brass Push-to-Connect Check Valve-U2008-0000LFA - The Home Depot

My Flagstaff doesn't have a hose connection on the fresh water tank, just a capped inlet that allows a hose to be inserted. I think Rockwoods are the same.

My freshwater tank filled from the city water connection, almost to overflowing. Once I figured that out, I opened the gray water drain, and used the pump to pump it all out. Whatever was in the pump keeping it from sealing and acting as the check valve must have been washed out. I never had the problem again.

I connected to the antifreeze fill side and had the valve to the tank at the pump open. Heard the tank filling and shut it down.
On the other hand It is a mess free way to fill if you chose too.

I did this on my Roo. Just make sure you don't fill faster than it can vent, or you'll blow up your FW tank!!
