When i "burped" mine, pressing the plastic button did nothing with my water pump turned off, when I turned water pump back on and pressed it, then I got the spray you talk about.

If there is pressure it will spray you. But without you may get a dribble

Think about things before you do them make life easier not harder.

Thanks everyone. My husband pushed it good thing he stood to the side. He got a big spray of water then he saw the antifreeze. RV all done now just waiting for the Jersey freeze and for 2015 camping season - Can't wait!!!
