Combine Dump Outlets

I'm wanted to do this mod for some time, but have hesitated because there is not enough material on the back side of the Galley Dump Valve to work with once the Valve Flange is removed. See picture (Note left side of flange where the heater tape is located).

To eliminate this problem, I removed the valve on the Galley Tank and then bolted the two halves of the Valve Mount back together using one of the Valve Seals to seal the connection. See Picture (note rubber seal between the two flanges).

The final product was better than I expected.

An added advantage to bolting the two Galley Dump flanges back together without the valve between the flanges is that should replacement of the new Galley Dump Valve be necessary, there is now a point where the plumbing on the right side of the valve can be removed (the section between the new valve and the previous Galley Dump Valve.

Looks good. Think I'll do the same! Have had our 8289 for one year now. Pulled it over 8000 miles and spent 110 nights in it. No major problems. Love the layout. Pulls like a dream.
