Trying to use digital in on the unit for surround from my Satellite dish and OTS tv but it is noisy and looses lock. The HDMI out to the TV is great. All they wore up is NTSC composite from the factory.

To whom this may concern. Now I've tried all of your suggestions thank you very much. I still can't get that ZX 500 to work. I've got power but the unit doesn't want to respond. Now by chance is there a fuse inside the box itself? I've checked the fuse that is in line and of course I'm getting power but it crossed my mind if there was a fuse in the box itself? It just does not make any sense why it won't come on. Even if I just got AM and FM from m y local stations but nothing.

Older Then Dirt, A couple of days ago, there was a thread about a unit working only when plugged in to 110v. Bob Fields answered the guy and he said for him to check the unit ground wire. His red light also would only light up. He said that on 110v it could just over ride the ground issue. I think he had a Z75 unit. I'll try and find the thread for you. I found his answer attached below this post

dtb7811,

Sorry to hear you are having issues.

I don't recall the issue dieselbobcat mentions above affecting the ZX75. Your issue sounds like you might have a bad ground as the unit is not powering up on 12Volt only. I would check all your grounds from the battery, to chassis to behind the radio. On 120V the converter is putting out enough juice to overcome or bypass the issue. Thats where I would start.

Also bikendan is correct, I no longer work with Concertone, but happy to help out where I can. Just remember I am a forum member, not a supplier employee! :-)

Happy camping!

Bob is right! Try another ground wire. "Home Run" a ground wire for test purposes and if it works you can follow the original wire to the screw that bonds it to the trailer frame.
