Covers for Windjammers or V-Nose trailers

We're trying to find a good cover for our 3008W windjammer. Has anyone found a cover for the V-Nose style or a good cover that will fold and secure properly over the front of the trailer?

No idea where you can get one but why bother folding the thing, they are huge.

Something like that should work, just make sure cover is dry.

I agree that would be optimal but not feasible for some of. I already paid $75 a month in storage fees and storage units would be very expensive for where I live. I live in a condo and don't have a yard for garage. Going back to the original question, I mean trying to find the best alternative for my situation.

For now no one that I know of offers a cover that is made to fit a V-nose . I use just a regular Adco cover for my V-lite. Have used them for years and works when tying and drawing the front part of cover to snug into the V. Later RJD

When we had our 3008W--I ordered from Calmark Covers in California. Custom made for a v-nose. 6 year warranty and they will send you sheet to add dimensions. I completed their form and also included a top view drawing with additional dimensions showing the distance from the point of the "v" and back to the sidewall of the trailer.
A bit pricey but mine fit like a glove.

We bought one to fit 36 ft. Gives you a little extra to cover battery holder. I also use the bag cover to put over the electric jack to protect it from water when camper is not covered. I've had these covers last 5 years and a heck of a lot cheaper than a custom made one. Later RJD

Cover for Windjammer

My 20-foot Vibe 6520 has a V-nose + spare in front. I bought a standard ADCO #3240 cover with Tyvek which tolerates seasonal wind gusts up to 60 mph and occasional sustained winds of 30 mph in the spring. The cover flaps/straps tie off securely across the front along with snap-straps underneath and the cover has provided protection for two years without any issues. Give ADCO your various measurements and they will advise which cover you need. An expensive option would be to consider a custom cover.

Curious, do those type covers do anything to the exterior finish?

Thanks.

I have not had any issues with the finish. Get the cover as tight as possible to cut down on "flapping in the breeze".

Covers

Check out www.toyboxcovers.com. Well made product and they will custom make it for you. They're are a lot of options you can add. I.E. Zipper sections so you can access Ladder rack, extra doors, compartment doors etc. one down side is they are spendy...but they last a long time and do not fade, crack or deteriorate..hope this helps

No exterior abrasions or difficulties from the cover material. Protect cover from sharp edges. My Vibe has thin aluminum wheel fenders. Before covering each fall I affix tape over the sharp front/back fender edges to prevent cutting the cover. I tried slitting small plastic tubing and inserting around the fender edges but the tubing pulled away over time. The tape works and any surface adhesive is easily removed.
