Maybe FR or your dealer will realize that the cost of that door is much lower than the cost of an unhappy customer. As we say in my place of employment, one oh heck wipes out a thousand atta boys.

Making the customer happy is certainly good PR!! As for the cause of the cracks in the door I still haven't figure that out. I asked Lippert if they wanted the cracked door so they could figure out the cause of the problem but they said that wasn't necessary. When I get the new one installed I guess I can try to figure out the cause of the problem on my own.

We had a Rockwood 2008 8314SS that did the same thing. We did not have any bulging but we had cracks on both sides of the window in the living room door. We recently sold the trailer and purchased(on order) a Flagstaff 8528iwks. Our warranty was up so we did not pursue the issue but we know the people who bought it. I hope you get a resolution to why this is happenng.

Any new information? I have a Forest River Puma, it is 16 months old. No water access, no heat, just occasional day to day use. Cracks in the fiberglass panel at the lock, every window screw, and some small cracks in the edges of the door.
I spoke with the local Forest River rep, (Giant RV) and they told me this is very common, and I'm SOL. Apparently I can't even order a new panel for self-repair; they're telling me I must purchase an entire door. 700.00. It's just a fiberglas panel, worth maybe 50.00 at the outside.
Help?

Exterior does not appear to be bulging at all.

Window frame and doorlock overtightened at factory? Looks like it.
