Cracks have gotten worse since my last post. Finally got the new door delivered to my dealer, now I'm waiting for them to find the time to install it. I need to call back Rockwood before I get it in for the install because they said they would send new decals and cover the labor cost.

same issue issue here!
just a couple of horizontal cracks.
not enough to worry about if i have to pay for it.

but, obviously, it's a common problem.

I also have this problem on my 2009 8317SS. I figured it was too far out of warranty for Forest River to take care of.

cracked doors

Have both doors in our 8314SS that have numerous horizontal cracks and have been this way for several years. Neither RV Wholesalers, who we purchased from nor Forest River offer solution to what is clearly a manufacturer defect. This unsightly defect doesn't bode well for Forest River when visiting RV parks and doors are open and visible for all to see. Hoping F.R. figures this out and considers customer service vs. Bottom line. Next stop is Trailer Life publication to see if mass exposure remedies problem for all of us who are victim of shoddy workmanship.
