creaking murphy bed 2304s

When getting in and out of bed getting a creaky groaning sound. Seems like it is coming from piano hinge that fastens bed to frame. Mechanism still smooth but noiseannoying. Have lubed hinge and seems better, but creak still there.

Check the vertical piece of "wood" the hinge is screwed to. When we picked up our new 2503S last year, there were NO screws holding the street side of this piece of wood to the trailer. Turns out there were only 2 screws on the curb side. Dealer tech added an extra screw on the curb side and then 3 on the street side. When I got home, I added another (total of 4) on each side. The piece of "wood" is some kind of press board, so I figured the more screws the better. May not fix your creak, but sure can't hurt.
