Crooked Power Awning
I have 9100 electric awning on my Windjammer 3008W and the material rolls up noticeably crooked and the motor seems to strain to get it closed.
I measured the distance the material is from each end of the awning roller and it's off by 1/8", 1 1/4" on one side and 1 1/2" on the other side, should be 1 3/8" by splitting the difference.
The crookedness seems to be much more severe than being 1/8" off, could something else be wrong?
If not, what's the best way to center the awning material on the roller?
Pics to follow.
Thanks,
Jack

Extend awning, pull on awning material till you get it centered and it rolls up correctly, then drill a hole in your awning fabric and roller and install a pop rivet so it stays.

The way the material looks by the wrinkles, might the roller be bent? Looks like might be pulling tighter in middle of material. Mine's off a little end to end and have no problem.

Ok.....looking a little closer, it. to me, looks like that awning has de-flapers on it creating the wrinkles.

I took some more pics, which I'll post in a little while, some of them didn't turn out well) and I'm a little confused.
I rolled the awning out to get pics of the roller sag in the middle (these are the ones that didn't turn out well) and as I was rolling it up I took a pic of each side of the awning and it looks like the awning is shorter in the middle than it is on the ends??

As you can see in the pics above, as the awning is rolling up it looks like the awning material is getting progressively smaller? I'll post the pics of the sag in the awning roller when I can get some good pics later today.
This awning does have the metal cover on it.
