De winterizing...

We have a new 2015 233s roo and I have flushed out the tank and all the faucets, shower etc. then I went to put the water filter in and it still had residue of the anti freeze they used. (about the bottom 1/4 of the filter container is still pink) I then thought hooking up the water to the city line maybe needed so I went they the whole process that way and it still didn't get the pink out of the filter cup thingy. I am going to just remove that and wash it myself before adding the filter to it but is there something else I am missing as far as what I am supposed to do? Thanks in advance, I am new here and new at this travel trailer stuff. We had a tent trailer (pop up) for years and am just wanting to make sure I am doing this right.

Fill your fresh water tank with water and 1/4 cup of bleach per 15 gallons of water then flush complete water system with solution until bleach can be smelled.
Let sit for a 6 hours.
Drain fresh water tank and refill with fresh water and flush system again.
